EMERGENCY AMBULANCE

In a crisis, every small decision counts. In addition to utilizing every available state-of- the-art tool, our EMT’s are second to none. Our staff receives constant and consistent training on their clinical skills and current care protocols so they make decisions without hesitation.

What it is: Urgent transportation to the Emergency Department of your choice.

ROUTINE AMBULANCE

Pre-scheduled ambulance transportation comprises the majority of Professional’s daily work. If you’re headed to dialysis, or leaving the hospital after knee surgery, we promise that a ride with us will be as pleasant as can be.

What it is: Transportation via stretcher to and/or from your healthcare providers.

Who it's for: Patients are typically referred to us by a healthcare professional‐ i.e. your social worker, an assisted living facility, primary care physician etc.

If you or (your healthcare provider) have never worked with Professional before, it’s important to know that to be eligible for stretcher transportation, a patient must meet certain medical criteria. Our eligibility specialists are happy to talk you through it. Call us at 401‐274‐8680.

GO-PRO MEDICAL TAXI

Maybe you don’t need a stretcher, but still need to get to a medical appointment? Professional Ambulance offers several types of transportation based on a patient’s needs. All our drivers are trained in CPR, HIPAA and patient sensitivity. They’re also happy to help provide whatever assistance is necessary to ensure a pleasant experience.

What it is: Transportation to medical appointments for patients who are ambulatory or need a wheelchair.

Wheelchair‐van Transportation : Transport by handicapped‐accessible wheelchair van is best suited for patients who are wheelchair‐bound, or have some mobility impairments, but are alert, oriented and able to communicate their needs.

On‐Demand Medical Taxi : Our car service is ideal for ambulatory riders who require a little extra assistance. Vehicles typically available within thirty minutes of request.

Martin BAGINSKI

Director of Operations

What Martin Does

Martin is responsible for the day‐to‐day operations of the business. Professional operates 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. This requires an enormous amount of logistical planning and oversight, so his responsibilities are too many to list here. Most significantly, Martin manages all of Professional’s resources: staffing levels, employee schedules, inventory, vehicle acquisition and fleet maintenance, and the daily flow of trips. Martin is also responsible for the company’s billing and compliance programs. He relies on a sophisticated suite of integrated software to oversee and audit the company’s revenue streams.

Favorite Part of the Job

“Working with our crew of EMT’s. Since I’m usually here 60+ hours a week, I want to work with people I can get to know and like. As a paramedic myself, I’m particularly passionate about training. I make sure that every employee is engaged in continuing education. I want everyone to feel on the top of their game when they roll out of base.”

Martin is a glutton for punishment. When he’s not at Professional, he’s training for a triathlon or scaling and mountaineering up some of the country’s most formidable peaks.

Brenda BAGINSKI

Chief Financial Officer

What Brenda Does

Brenda is charged with overseeing the Professional’s financial health and future. A CPA by trade, Brenda has become an expert in small‐business cash‐flow management. She ensures the company meets all its obligations, without sacrificing steady capital expenditures for facility improvement, technology upgrades and vehicle replacement. As part of those responsibilities, she manages the collections team and oversees the daily execution of the company’s compliance program. She is a nationally certified coder and an industry expert on ambulance billing regulations.

“Watching the company grow. We founded this business as a family only eight years ago with one ambulance. We’ve worked so hard maximize the return on our investment. It’s really cool for me to see all the activity around base everyday knowing how small we were when we started.”

Random Fact About Martin

Brenda is a world‐class baker. She’s best known around the office for her banana‐bread muffins and chocolate chip cookies which she brings in almost every week for all to share.
